Our Company is specializing in the import and wholesales of Austrian wines.
The founder of the Company, Alexander Kolterer, immigrated from Vienna, Austria to Vancouver, Canada, B.C. on January 14th 2003.
Alexander Kolterer worked in Vienna at the Austria's biggest wine retail store Wein & Co with the world's largest online-wineshop, which also provides a bar and a restaurant at some of their locations.
Originally as a system engineer and IT-specialist he worked 8 years for the biggest Austrian bank Bankaustria-Creditanstalt and three years for IBM Austria as an IT-consultant at the Finance Austria department of IBM Global Services Austria in Vienna.
Together with his partner and co-owner Alex Kwok, Alexander Kolterer decided to start a business importing high quality Austrian wines to B.C., Canada.
Alex Kwok, who is originally from Thailand, has been living in Vancouver, Canada, B.C. since 1998.
He graduated in April 2003 from the Canadian Tourism College with honor in the topics Hospitality Management as well as Travel and Tourism.
Alex Kwok visited Austria three times as well stayed in Austria from Mai to July 2002.
The Company was incorporated on February 13th 2003.
The first five products were listed by March 18th 2003 by the LDB and the Company obtained the Liquor License on April 8th 2003 and now the Company extended the portfolio to 10 different wines.
